Barbara Katzenberg

Barbara Katzenberg is an experienced professional with a substantial background in public service, consulting, and education. Currently serving as an Elected Town Meeting Member for the Town of Lexington and a Steering Committee Member for the Sister District Project, a volunteer organization for the Massachusetts/Rhode Island Chapter, Katzenberg has also contributed as a Leadership Council Member for Oxfam since April 2016. Past roles include Professional Services Director at Allscripts for 17 years and involvement in health and public services IT consulting at Sapient. With a Ph.D. in Education with a focus on cognitive science from Stanford University, an M.Sc. in adult learning from the University of Rochester, and a B.A. in American History from Carnegie Mellon University, Katzenberg combines an extensive academic foundation with a diverse professional portfolio.
