Melissa Brooks

Special Education Teacher at Town of Lexington

Melissa Brooks is a dedicated educational professional with extensive experience in special education and inclusion. Since August 2015, Melissa has served as a Special Education Teacher for the Town of Lexington, focusing on the needs of students with IEPs. Prior to this role, Melissa worked as an Inclusion Specialist at the Ayer-Shirley School District, addressing the academic challenges of students in ELA and implementing necessary modifications. Other experiences include serving as a Transitional Learning Center Liaison at Algonquin Regional High School, a Teacher at Farr Academy, and a Teacher at Merrimack Education Center, each role emphasizing the delivery of differentiated instruction in line with the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks.
