Kevin P. McClain

Kevin P. McClain is a seasoned Geographic Information Systems Analyst currently employed by the Town of Marana since February 2022. Kevin's expertise includes handling map requests, entering water and sewer infrastructure data, and creating new addresses within city guidelines. Prior to this role, Kevin operated as a self-employed geospatial consultant from April 2019 to October 2021, focusing on spatial analysis, cartography, and various advanced geospatial projects. Kevin's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Geological and Earth Sciences from Istanbul Technical University, complemented by a Master's degree in Earth Science from Uppsala University and a Bachelor's degree in Geography and GIS from the University of Oregon. Additionally, Kevin has significant experience in diverse roles that encompass research, customer service, and tour guiding in geologically rich areas.
