Philomena Golden

Philomena Golden is currently a Planner 1 for the Town of Morrisville, a position held since August 2022. Previously, Philomena served as a Lead for North Carolina Fellow, where initiatives included developing a website maintenance program for the public works department and implementing a street/stop sign reporting program. Experience also includes a student internship at Campus and Community Coalition, focused on digital marketing strategies that notably increased organic site traffic. As an organizer for Vote for Equality, Philomena successfully coordinated campaign strategies and recruitment efforts, boosting election participation by 25%. Additional experience includes fundraising and team management as a Canvasser/Field Manager, as well as customer service roles. Philomena is pursuing a Master of Public Administration at the University of North Carolina Wilmington, following a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Asian Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
