Program Support: Domestic Violence Action Committee at Town of Needham, MA

Roxanne T. MSPS, MSCJ currently serves as Residential Support Staff at REACH Beyond Domestic Violence since November 2023, and has been in a similar role at The Second Step since May 2019, providing trauma-informed support and responding to emergencies for shelter program participants. Additionally, Roxanne has contributed to the Town of Needham's Human Resources Department, supporting the Domestic Violence Action Committee since May 2018, coordinating community meetings and training sessions. Previous experience includes serving as a Protective Services Advocate with South Shore Elder Services from March 2021 to February 2024, a Graduate Assessment Fellow at Suffolk University in late 2015, and a Board Member for Vital Impact, Inc. Roxanne also completed an internship at the Massachusetts State House in 2014 and worked as a Community Affairs Specialist at Boston Globe Media from 2008 to 2010. Educationally, Roxanne holds a Master's degree in Crime and Justice Studies and a Master's degree in Political Science from Suffolk University, along with a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and a minor in International Business.
