Gregory Mancini

Gregory Mancini has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Gregory started their career as a Sales Representative at Mancini Beverage in 1984 and later became a District Manager at Diageo (formerly the Guinness Import Co.) in 1987. Gregory then returned to Mancini Beverage as a Sales Representative until 1997.

In 1997, Mancini joined the Rhode Island Association of REALTORS® as Legal Counsel, where they provided legal advice to over 3,000 members and played a key role in lobbying for the passage of home inspection license legislation. Gregory remained in this role until 1999 when they became an Of Counsel at Sinapi Law Associates, Ltd., specializing in areas such as education, labor, employment, construction, and real estate law.

Starting in 2000, Mancini served as the Executive Director/General Council at Build RI, where they were responsible for strategic planning, day-to-day operations, legal matters, and negotiating labor agreements on large-scale construction projects. Gregory also drafted and lobbied for the passage of legislation related to worker rights and protections, prevailing wages, and services for children with educational disabilities.

In 2016, Mancini became the Chair of the Board of Directors at Building Futures/Apprenticeship RI, and in 2017, they were appointed as an Independent Special Education Hearing Officer (Administrative Law Judge) for the State of Rhode Island. In this role, they resolved disputes between parents and school districts related to the Individuals with Disabilities in Education Act.

Most recently, in 2018, Mancini became the Town Council President for the Town of North Kingstown. Overall, they have demonstrated a strong background in law, negotiation, leadership, and advocacy throughout their career.

Gregory Mancini earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics from Boston College in 1984. Gregory later obtained a J.D. from Roger Williams University School of Law, completing their legal education in 1997.
