Joseph Lanier

Land Manager Rockhouse Hill Sanctuary at Town Of Oxford

Joseph Lanier is an accomplished land manager and science educator with extensive experience in conservation and environmental education. Currently serving as the Land Manager at Rockhouse Hill Sanctuary for the Conservation Commission and Inland Wetlands Agency Town of Oxford since June 2017, Joseph also holds a position as a Science Instructor at Oxford High School, focusing on biology and field biology, in addition to coordinating the Youth Conservation Corps. With a strong background in program management, Joseph has developed initiatives for youth engagement in natural resource management, particularly through the Youth Conservation Corps with the Town of Oxford. Previous experience includes serving as a Program Manager for Groundwork Bridgeport and as a science instructor at Warren Harding High School. Joseph holds a BS in Biology from Northeastern University and a Master of Education from the University of Bridgeport.
