Zhenya Shevchenko is a highly experienced wastewater treatment professional with a strong background in both operational and management roles. Currently serving as the Superintendent and Chief Operator at the Town Of Oxford since November 2016, Zhenya is instrumental in the launch of the state's first membrane-bioreactor wastewater facility. Previously, Zhenya worked as a Wastewater Operator at the City of South Portland Water Resources Protection Department, where responsibilities included plant maintenance, lab reporting, and operator guidance. Zhenya's earlier experience as a Project Technician at Aeration Systems involved designing and manufacturing wastewater treatment systems, leading projects to gain NSF40 certification, and troubleshooting operational issues. Zhenya holds a Master's Degree in Chemical Technology and a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Science from Lviv Politechnic National University, along with a Diploma from the Management Candidate School in Business Administration and Management.
