Douglas Sangster

Douglas Sangster has extensive experience in urban planning and community development, currently serving as a Town Planner for the Town of Penfield since August 2014, where responsibilities include providing technical assistance and reviewing planning documents. Previous roles include Director of Program Development at the Buffalo Municipal Housing Authority, overseeing operations for the Perry Choice Neighborhood Planning and Information Center, and facilities custodian at Browncroft Community Church. Douglas has also gained valuable skills through various internships and positions, including community-focused education initiatives at Futures Academy and service learning at the UB Center for Urban Studies. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Design from the University at Buffalo.
