Brendan Brides

Brendan Brides is an experienced professional with a diverse background spanning various industries. Since September 2013, Brendan has served as the Building Commissioner for the Town of Sandwich, focusing on code compliance inspections, zoning enforcement, plan reviews, and conducting annual inspections. Prior to this role, Brendan was the President of Brides-Built Inc. from 1990 to September 2013, overseeing construction management, new home construction, and estimating. Earlier career experiences include serving as a Line Pilot for the Boston Helicopter Company from 1992 to 1998, and as an Oil Derrick Foreman for Global Marine Drilling Company from 1981 to 1987, working on off-shore projects in several major bodies of water. Brendan's educational background includes a Permanent Deacon Ordination from the Diocese of Fall River, along with studies at Presentation College in Cork City, Ireland.
