Jim Wahlstrom

Jim Wahlstrom, AICP, has extensive experience in urban planning, currently serving as Senior Planner for the Town of Snowmass Village since August 2000. Prior to this role, Jim was a Planning Commissioner for Eagle County's Regional Planning Commission in the Roaring Fork Valley from April 2001 to March 2004. Jim's career began in the City of Aurora, where various positions including Senior Planner, Planner II, Planner I, and Planning Technician were held from July 1982 to August 2000. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Planning & Community Development from the University of Colorado Denver, a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Management with a minor in Math from LeTourneau University, and a Certificate in Architectural Drafting from Pickens Technical College.
