Talita Garcia, PHR, CDR, CSSR, has a diverse and extensive work experience. Talita currently holds the position of Human Resources Director at the Town of Snowmass Village, beginning in December 2022. Previously, Talita worked at Higher Ground Education as a Senior Sourcer of School Growth from April 2022 to November 2022, and as a Talent Specialist from September 2021 to April 2022. Prior to this, they were with the Aspen School District, where they served as a Lead Human Resources Specialist from January 2019 to September 2021. Talita also briefly filled the role of Interim Human Resources Director at the school district from August 2020 to November 2020, overseeing the HR department and implementing new programs. Talita has also worked as an English Teacher at Ibeu in 2015, Wise Up from 2013 to 2014, and CNA Idiomas | Oficial from 2011 to 2012. Talita started their career as a Human Resources Intern at Embrapa in 2010, where they managed administrative operations and oversaw the onboarding of interns. Talita has a strong background in HR, recruitment, employee relations, and program management.

Talita Garcia, PHR, CDR, CSSR, has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the Universidade Federal Rural do Rio de Janeiro, obtained between 2008 and 2014. Talita is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General from Columbia Southern University, with an expected completion date in 2023. Talita is also studying Life, Career, and Executive Coaching at the Goal Imagery Institute, International School of Coaching Mastery™, with an anticipated completion date in 2023.

In addition to their formal education, Talita has obtained various certifications. Talita received the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from HRCI in May 2020 and the Certified Social Sourcing Recruiter (CSSR) certification from AIRS powered by ADP in November 2021. Talita also earned the Certified Diversity and Inclusion Recruiter certification from AIRS powered by ADP in January 2022. Moreover, they achieved the Servant Leadership certification from Columbia Southern University in June 2020.

Furthermore, Talita holds the Real Estate Broker license from the State of Colorado, which they obtained in April 2019. Talita has also completed training through the Chapman Foundation for Caring Communities and received certifications from them twice, in January 2019 and February 2023.
