Shawn Gibbons

Shawn Gibbons is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in network administration and web development. Currently serving as a Network Administrator for the Town of Summerville since March 2019, Shawn also owns Palmetto Images Production Company since January 2006. Previous roles include Marketing Director and Network Administrator at LaPorte's Products from June 2016 to March 2019, where significant contributions included designing and developing an e-commerce platform and a secure payment collection system. Earlier experience includes serving as a Deputy Sheriff for the Dorchester County Sheriff's Office and as a Military Police Canine Handler in the United States Marine Corps. Shawn holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from Limestone University, with additional education in Computer Science from Trident Technical College and a high school diploma from Summerville High School.
