Deborah Swearingen is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in journalism and media. Currently serving as a Communications Specialist for the Town of Superior since June 2023, Deborah co-owns The DNA Collective, a position held since December 2021. Previous roles include City Reporter for the Daily Camera from September 2020 to October 2022, and Reporter for Evergreen Newspapers from September 2016 to September 2020. Additional reporting experience includes positions at the Florence Morning News and The Carolina Reporter. Town of Superior
Superior is a statutory town in Boulder County, Colorado and was founded in 1896 and incorporated in 1904. The Town reportedly was named after the "superior" quality of coal found in the area. The Town has a well-educated, family-centered population of 13,189 residents within 4 square miles along the productive US 36 corridor.
