Deputy Fire Chief at Town of The Blue Mountains

Cameron Smith brings extensive experience in fire service and management, currently serving as Deputy Fire Chief for the Town of The Blue Mountains since June 2023. Previously, Cameron held the same role at the City of Kawartha Lakes from September 2019 to September 2022 and served in multiple positions, including Training Officer and Chief Training Officer, at The Corporation of the Town of Ajax between October 1998 and September 2019. Cameron's early career included roles as a Qualified Captain and Firefighter, along with volunteer firefighting experience. In addition to a solid professional background, Cameron is pursuing further education at Humber College and holds multiple certifications from the Ontario Fire College, including Firefighter Certification and Company Officer Program credentials. Cameron also operated Cam Smith Renovations from 1996 to 2014.
