John Walsh

John Walsh is an experienced IT professional currently serving as the IT Infrastructure and Security Supervisor at the Town of The Blue Mountains since June 2018, previously holding the title of IT Infrastructure and Security Coordinator. Prior experience includes a decade at St. Andrew's College, where roles encompassed Systems and Network Administrator, IT Services Coordinator, and Help Desk Manager/Laptop Coordinator, focusing on network operations, vendor management, and support for a large user base. John’s career began as a Computer Trainer at Georgina Public Libraries, where course design and public instruction were key responsibilities. John holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Trent University and an Associate's degree in Computer Technology from Fleming College, as well as participation in the Emerging Leaders Development Program at Ward & Uptigrove and ongoing education with Digital Boundary Group.
