Larry Field

Larry Field is an experienced professional in urban planning and economic development, currently serving as Senior Planner for the Town of Watertown since July 2020, focusing on housing and project review. Prior to this role, Larry held several key positions, including Deputy Director at the Massachusetts Smart Growth Alliance and Director of the Massachusetts Permit Regulatory Office. Larry's career also includes nearly a decade at the Massachusetts Housing and Community Development and ownership of Franklin Fields LP. Earlier experience includes partnership at Posternak Blankstein & Lund LLP and work as an attorney in the United States Justice Department's Antitrust Division. Larry holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and a law degree from Harvard Law School.
