Richard Thompson

Richard Thompson is a seasoned automotive professional with extensive experience in both operational management and technical roles. Currently serving as a Wastewater Operator for the Town of Wellington since March 2023, Thompson previously owned GENUINE AUTOMOTIVE INC from November 2006 to March 2024, managing daily operations while actively working on vehicles. Additional experience includes a role as an Adjunct Instructor in automotive technology at Front Range Community College from February to November 2017, and as a lead diagnosis technician at Markley Motors from April 2002 to April 2006, where support was provided to less experienced technicians. Earlier experience includes work as an automotive technician at Tynan's Fort Collins Nissan and Kia from September 2000 to September 2001. Richard Thompson holds an Associate in Applied Science degree in Automotive Technology from Oklahoma State University Institute of Technology, earned between 1998 and 2000.
