Brooke Nelson has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Starting in 1992, they worked at Cummins Engine Company as an Analyst and Project Leader for four years. In 2003, Brooke became an Independent Consultant, specializing in real estate and property management until 2007. Brooke then joined the Town of West Hartford, where they held various roles. From 2007 to 2010, they served as a Senior Staff Assistant, and from 2010 to the present, they have been the Operations Manager for a Municipal Parking business and the manager of Fairview Cemetery. In 2019, Brooke also became a Member of the Board of Directors for the New England Parking Council, where they co-chairs the Municipal Forum and curates relevant topics for discussion in the parking and transportation sectors.
Brooke Nelson has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University. Brooke also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Indiana Wesleyan University.
