Mike Carter

Mike Carter is an experienced communications professional with a diverse background in marketing, content development, and account management. Currently serving as the Communications Coordinator for the Town of Yarmouth, Nova Scotia since January 2019, Mike previously held roles at Web.com, where responsibilities included account management and copywriting, and at Avid Media Ltd., where co-management of the web, print, and marketing division was key. Mike also successfully owned a communications business catering to over 100 clients, focusing on brand and identity development. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Criminology from Saint Mary's University, diplomas in Public Relations from McGill University, and Information Technology from Nova Scotia Community College.
