Ben Gilliam

Ben Gilliam is currently the VP and Assistant Controller at Towne Insurance since October 2017. Prior to that, Ben worked as a Financial Analyst at ADP and Towne Insurance. Ben also has experience as a Staff Accountant at Towne Insurance. Before transitioning into the finance and accounting field, Ben was the Pro Shop Manager at Cahoon Plantation Golf Club. Ben also served as a Tax Intern at Craver, Green & Company. Ben holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting with a Minor in Decision Sciences from Old Dominion University and an Associate of Science in Business Administration from Tidewater Community College. Ben's responsibilities have included reconciliations of bank accounts and accounts receivable/payable, managing inventory levels, and preparing individual income tax returns.
