Deke Gundersen

Deke Gundersen currently holds the position of Farm Certifications, Food Safety & Sustainability Practices at Townsend Farms Inc, a role initiated in April 2023. Prior to this, Deke Gundersen served as the Director of Environmental Studies at Pacific University from July 2000 to April 2023, and as a Professor of Biology at the University of Southern Indiana from 1996 to 2000. Deke Gundersen earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Environmental Toxicology from Oregon State University (1990-1994), a Master of Science in Aquatic Biology/Limnology from the University of Louisville (1987-1990), and a Bachelor of Science in General Biology from Indiana University Southeast (1983-1987).
