Karim Kanji

Karim Kanji is an experienced professional in disability management and human resources, currently serving as a Disability Management Advisor at the Township of Langley since 2016. With a background that includes roles as a DTA Advisor, Labour Relations Officer, and Disability Management Representative at the Health Sciences Association of BC from 2013 to 2022, Karim has expertise in case management of complex files, negotiating accommodation agreements, and verifying return-to-work agreements. Prior experience includes working as a Medical Radiation Technologist at the BC Cancer Agency from 1998 to 2015, where duties involved treatment planning and patient care, as well as serving as a Cancer Information Specialist for the Canadian Cancer Society from 2006 to 2011. Karim’s educational background includes various certifications and diplomas in leadership and rehabilitation, with ongoing studies for a Bachelor's degree at Simon Fraser University.
