Michael Pratt

Michael Pratt is an experienced professional currently serving as a Councillor for the Township of Langley, elected for a four-year term commencing in October 2022. Previously, Michael served part-time as a Reservist Weapons Technician in the Canadian Armed Forces from October 2020 to May 2023. As the President of Mariemont Group from October 2021 to October 2022, Michael led a boutique land-use planning firm focused on financial modelling and project feasibility. At Giesbrecht and Co, from September 2018 to September 2021, Michael worked as a Manager and Project Manager, engaging in land-use consulting, public engagement, and stakeholder liaison. Michael also gained experience as a Summer Associate at PwC between May and August 2017. Currently, Michael is pursuing a Master's Degree in Urban Studies at Simon Fraser University, following a Bachelor's Degree from UBC Sauder School of Business.
