Brenton Taylor

Brenton Taylor currently serves as the Assistant Director of Safety and Aquatics at Towson University, a position held since July 2024. Prior to this role, Brenton was the Aquatics Facility Manager at American University from July 2021 to July 2024 and the Senior Aquatics Director at the YMCA of Greater Richmond from April 2016 to July 2021. Brenton's experience includes supervising aquatics staff, managing facility budgets, training personnel, and enhancing community engagement through program development. Brenton also held positions focused on lifeguard training and program coordination, including significant responsibilities in recruitment, performance evaluation, and safety compliance. Brenton earned a Bachelor of Music in Music Performance from Virginia State University in 2014.
