Suat Cubukcu

Suat Cubukcu is an Assistant Professor and Director of the Security Assessment and Management Program at Towson University since August 2022. Additionally, Suat serves as a Senior Fellow at the Orion Policy Institute since July 2021. Previously, Suat was a Professorial Lecturer at American University from September 2012 to August 2022, where responsibilities included being a Department Liaison for International Students and teaching Justice and Public Policy courses. Suat's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Justice, Law, and Criminology from American University and a Master’s Degree in Sociology from the University of North Texas. Suat's experience encompasses teaching, research assistantship, and course development, emphasizing research skills and critical thinking in the curriculum.
