Timothy Kilpin

Tim Kilpin serves as CEO of PlayMonster, where he is focused on expanding and accelerating the business with an emphasis on sales, marketing, design, and business development.

Tim most recently served as President/CEO of Activision Blizzard’s Consumer Products business, managing the category strategy and creative development of multiple product ranges in support of key franchises such as Overwatch, Call of Duty, World of Warcraft, and the Overwatch League esports division.

Prior, he served as President, Chief Commercial Officer for Mattel, Inc., directing all aspects of the company’s global $5.5 billion Sales and Marketing operations. Prior to that role, Tim served as Executive Vice-President of Mattel’s Boys and Girls Global Brand Team, overseeing Marketing, Product Design & Development, Consumer Products, Content Development, and Packaging for such iconic brands as Hot Wheels, Barbie, and Monster High.

Before rejoining Mattel in 2003, Tim served as Executive Vice-President, Franchise Management at The Walt Disney Company, overseeing creation and development of cross-category franchise plans for Disney’s stable of content and characters, including Disney Princesses, Winnie the Pooh, and Mickey Mouse.

Tim has also supported both trade and philanthropic organizations throughout his career, serving as Board and Executive Committee member of the Toy Association, the Make-A-Wish International Foundation, the Children Affected by AIDS Foundation, and LIMA (the Licensing Industry Merchandisers’ Association).
