Tom Polanski

Tom Polanski is a Senior Software Engineer with extensive experience in mission-critical software engineering across military, defense, aviation, and aerospace industries. Currently working at Toyon Research Corporation since 2018, Polanski specializes in planning and situational awareness software, notably developing the Multi-Modal Fusion Model (M2FM) for CBRN incident modeling. Prior roles include avionics software engineering at Abaco Systems, real-time telemetry engineering at Telspan Data, and semantics-based systems integration at Xtensible Solutions. Tom has also served as Chief Engineer at Analex Corporation, focusing on aerospace and medical device development, and has held senior positions at Convergent Group and Southern Maryland Electric, along with early career work as a Graduate Assistant.
