Eric Shi

Eric Shi is an accomplished engineer with extensive experience in electrical and electronic engineering. Currently serving as a Development Engineer at Toyota Motor Corporation Australia since September 2019, Eric focuses on connected-vehicle projects, including data communication module development, digital key function development, hardware and software verification, use case management, and vehicle integration evaluation. Prior to this role, Eric worked at Lumen Freedom as an Electrical/Power System Engineer, contributing to electric vehicle wireless charging R&D projects, and earlier held positions at General Cable and Marque Magnetic, where design and development of cable and transformer components were key responsibilities. Eric holds a Master of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from The University of Auckland and a Bachelor of Engineering in Automation from Shanghai University.
