Darren C. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Darren started their career at InforSense Ltd., where they worked as a Quality Assurance Analyst for their Integrative Analytics Platform. Darren then joined the Japan Exchange and Teaching Program (JET) as an English Teacher, teaching at three high schools in Japan. After that, they worked as an Assistant English Teacher at Interac, teaching English at junior high and primary schools in Kanagawa-ken, Japan.

Darren then transitioned into the software industry and joined ION Trading as a Software Support Analyst, providing final line support for their core system, RANsys. Darren later became a Software Developer, focusing on the development of RANsys. Darren then moved to Deloitte & Touche, where they worked as a Database Team Leader, leading a team of around 7 people and providing expertise in Oracle Database Administration and Development.

Currently, Darren is working at Toyota Connected Europe as a Cloud Engineer, primarily utilizing Terraform, AWS, Azure, Kubernetes (EKS, AKS), and GitLab. Darren is involved in improving cloud infrastructure, updating code bases, and building out cloud infrastructure for project teams.
