Richard Pickup

Richard Pickup has a diverse work experience in the field of iOS development. Richard is currently a Senior iOS Engineer at Toyota Connected Europe, starting in April 2022. Prior to this, they were self-employed as a mobile games developer at TapBam since June 2011. At TUI, Richard held the position of Lead iOS Developer from September 2018 to April 2022, and as a Senior iOS Developer from April 2017 to September 2018. Richard also worked as an iOS App Developer (Contract) at Kenja Corporation from November 2016 to April 2017 and as a Senior iOS Developer (Contract) at IG for a short period in October and November 2016. Richard's previous roles include Senior iOS software development engineer at Thomson Reuters from April 2015 to September 2016, Technical Specialist iOS and iPhone Developer at IG from September 2011 to April 2015, Senior iPhone Developer at CitySocialising in 2011, Mobile Applications Developer at Amplefuture from April 2010 to July 2011, and Programmer at DR Studios from September 2009 to February 2010.

Richard Pickup completed their education at the University of Derby from 2005 to 2009. Richard obtained a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in Computer Games Programming, specializing in computing. Additionally, in August 2022, they received a certification in Advanced Django from LinkedIn.
