Yassine Boujida

Yassine Boujida has a diverse work experience in the field of data engineering and data science. Yassine is currently working as a Senior Data Engineer at Toyota Connected Europe, where they collaborate closely with the Data Science Team to design and deploy a service for collision detection from telemetry data of cars. Yassine also participates in GitOps and best practices to facilitate the deployment of Data Science prediction models and APIs. Additionally, they are involved in the migration of legacy Data Platform to a mix of AWS and Azure.

Prior to their current role, Yassine worked as a Lead Data Engineer and Cloud Architect Consultant at DataPhoenix. Yassine also has experience as a Senior Data Engineer at Toyota Connected Europe, Senior Data Engineer Consultant at BT, and Senior Data Engineer Consultant at Coople Switzerland. In these roles, they were responsible for designing and building data pipelines, migrating to serverless architecture, writing SQL queries, developing and maintaining ETL pipelines, and deploying machine learning models to production. Yassine also worked on integrating third-party APIs and maintaining PowerBI reports.

Yassine Boujida has a diverse education history. In 2015, they completed their bachelor's degree in Engineering with a specialization in Computer Science at Faculté Polytechnique de Mons. Following this, from 2016 to 2018, they pursued a Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Sciences & Management Engineering from the same institution. Lastly, in 2018, Yassine attended University College Dublin for a brief period and obtained a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree focusing on Data Processing.
