Balasenthilarasu Mathavan has a diverse work experience in various technology roles. Balasenthilarasu started their career at HTC Global Services as a Senior Software Engineer from 2006 to 2009. Balasenthilarasu then worked as a Technology Analyst at ULTA Beauty in 2012, focusing on providing beauty products and services to customers. Balasenthilarasu also worked at Infosys as a Technology Analyst from 2010 to 2014, where they were responsible for analysis, design, coordination, and support in development and testing.

Balasenthilarasu then joined Sears Holdings Corporation in 2012 as a Technology Analyst, working on a Mobile Commerce Platform production support project. Balasenthilarasu supported and maintained various front and back-end services for tablet and iPod applications. Balasenthilarasu's role required him to understand the business flow and the end-to-end architecture to quickly resolve any production issues.

Afterwards, they worked at Donlen Corporation Hertz as a Java Technical Lead, developing, testing, and maintaining various front and back-end services for a web application that included vehicle tracking components.

In 2014, Balasenthilarasu worked as a Senior Software Consultant Lead at Wipro, where they migrated and maintained various front and back-end services for the Hertz equipment rental web project. Balasenthilarasu then joined Verifone as a Java Lead, working on the Lift/PRS/MediaApp project, which involved developing and maintaining front and back-end services for Lift application.

Balasenthilarasu later joined Herc Rentals as a Java Team Lead/Architect in 2016. Balasenthilarasu worked on a high-risk project involving the migration, development, testing, and maintenance of front and back-end services for the Hertz equipment Rental Corporation. Their role also included migrating user information from LDAP and DB2 to Open source MYSQL using Java standalone programs.

In 2018, Balasenthilarasu joined PennyMac Loan Services, LLC as a Technical Architect, working on the Loan Officer/Broker Portal project. Balasenthilarasu was responsible for the development and maintenance of various front and back-end services using Netflix Eureka Microservice architecture.

Currently, Balasenthilarasu is working at Toyota Financial Services Corporation as a Lead Java Developer. Balasenthilarasu is involved in the introduction of the Universal Party Master (UPM) platform, which replaces the legacy Universal Customer Master (UCM) platform. The UPM platform hosts party data for finance, insurance, and retail demand note customers, and supports multi-tenant architecture. The project is hosted in the mFin AWS cloud.

Balasenthilarasu Mathavan completed their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering at Sadar Raja College of Engineering from the years 2000 to 2004. Prior to that, they attended Schaffter Higher Secondary School from 1998 to 2000 where they studied Mathematics and Biology for their Higher Secondary education.
