Deepak Gopinath

Deepak Gopinath, PhD, currently serves as Co-Founder and Executive Producer at Flame Lily Media while simultaneously holding the position of Research Scientist at Toyota Research Institute since May 2022. With extensive experience in research and software engineering, Deepak has contributed to projects focused on visual attention modeling and human-machine interaction for autonomous vehicles at Toyota Research Institute. Previous roles include Researcher and Ph.D. Student at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab, along with various research positions and internships at Northwestern University and Toyota Research Institute. Deepak's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Northwestern University, a Master's in Music Technology from Georgia Institute of Technology, and a Professional Diploma in Music from Berklee College of Music, complemented by a Bachelor's in Engineering Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
