Scott Harris is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in spatial interaction and user experience design. Currently serving as a Staff Spatial Interaction Designer at Toyota Research Institute since January 2019, Scott leads interaction design for 3D HUD research, develops 3D UI components, and collaborates with engineers and researchers on various automotive and robotics projects. Previous roles include Director of UX at Xperiel, where Scott modernized the design team, and Sr. User Experience Designer at IBM iX, focusing on advanced projects across multiple domains such as healthcare and education. Scott co-founded ShutterCal.com and held interactive design roles at Moey Inc. and the American Museum of Natural History, showcasing an impressive portfolio of work from educational exhibits to corporate projects. Scott began the career in animation with positions at Century Media Records and Nickelodeon while earning a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Animation from The Miami International University of Art and Design.
