David Ward

David Ward has over three decades of experience in quality assurance and engineering roles within the manufacturing and aviation sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Technical Specialist in Supplier Production Engineering at Toyota SA since January 2002, David specializes in developing supplier performance and enhancing manufacturing systems. Prior experience includes positions as a Quality Assurance Engineer at Hesto Harnesses, where David implemented quality systems aligned with ISO standards, and as a Works/Quality Manager at RMT Glider Manufacturers, overseeing the production of light aircraft. David's career began at Aerostructures Hamble Ltd as a Quality Assurance Engineer, following an apprenticeship in production engineering. David holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Production Engineering from Solent University.
