Ron Chu

Ron Chu is the Group Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer at Toyota Motor Corporation. Ron has over 25 years of experience in accounting and finance.

Ron started their career at KPMG in 1993 and worked their way up to Senior Manager. In 2001, they left KPMG to join Global Crossing Telecommunications, Inc. as Tax Director. Ron then joined Toyota Financial Services International Corporation in March 2002 and served as the Group Vice President - Head of Accounting & Finance until August 2021.

Ron is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Ron Chu attended East China Normal University for their Bachelor of Arts - BA. Ron then attended Portland State University - School of Business for their Master's Degree in Taxation and Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Accounting. Ron then attended The University of Bonn for their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.). Ron is also certified from the California Board of Accountancy as a Certified Public Accountant.
