Sei Kato

Sei Kato is a Group Manager at Toyota Motor Corporation, focusing on advanced development in the connected vehicle area since 2018. Prior to their current role, they held various positions at IBM, including Managing Consultant and Research Staff Member, where they led projects related to traffic simulation and corporate strategy. Kato earned a Ph.D. in Mathematical Science from The University of Tokyo and has contributed to academia as a lecturer at multiple universities. They have been involved in professional organizations since 2003, serving on several committees within the Simulation Society of Japan and the Information Processing Society of Japan.
