From Rome, Emiliano started working for a small practice specializing in the refurbishment of historic buildings during his architectural training. Awarded a scholarship, he completed his education at the Technical University of Aachen (RWTH), Germany, while working for a practice that specialized in timber construction and residential developments.
In 2002 Emiliano joined tp Bennett since when he has been involved as design lead in a wide variety of projects from a 29-story residential tower in London’s Docklands to a showcase headquarters for Hanson Building Products in Bedfordshire (subsequently Kimberley Stem College), a mixed-use masterplan in Tunbridge Wells and an office building that is part of the Sea Containers House redevelopment on London’s Southbank. Since becoming a director, he has delivered the fit-out for the City headquarters of one of Japan’s largest banks and led a variety of residential and mixed-use schemes in London. He enjoys all aspects of the design process from developing a conceptual approach to finding detailed solutions that are both functional and architecturally seductive.
An active member of tp bennett’s sustainability group, Emiliano is passionate about sustainable design and innovative construction.
