Janet Johnson

Director at tp bennett

With tp bennett since 1987, Janet has bought a considerable depth of knowledge to the practice, from the development of greenfield sites to the change of use of existing buildings. Her early projects included offices in London’s Bankside and the conversion of Peninsula Heights in Vauxhall from a 1960s office tower to luxury apartments. She led the team to deliver the transformation of the Grade II-listed former Pearl Assurance HQ in Holborn into the Renaissance Chancery Court Hotel.

More recently Janet has managed teams involved in the delivery of a number of student residential and mixed-use projects including Nido Spitalfields in London, the world’s tallest student residential tower at the time of completion. She has recently also completed office developments at Hammersmith and is currently leading the delivery of a major new office development in the City of London.

Retaining a passion for design throughout each project delivery programme, Janet believes in paying attention to detail and collaborative working to ensure that design teams deliver projects to the highest standard.
