Nick has a long-term interest inbuilt heritage. While studying at the University of Bath he was awarded the SPAB Lethaby Scholarship, enabling him to spend a year studying traditional building and conservation in the UK.

After this formative experience, Nick joined tp bennett in 2000, since when he has maintained his involvement in heritage and conservation while also working on many other sectors: master planning, health, education, mixed-use, hospitality, and residential schemes, all for a wide range of public and private sector clients.

In the hospitality sector, Nick has delivered a number of schemes including three hotels in the Channel islands and a current project in Central London. His work has taken him to several overseas countries, including the delivery of a series of hospitals in Ghana. Currently, he is busy with the planning and construction of several residential and mixed-use schemes in London including Newham, Tower Hamlets, Greenwich, and Waltham Forest.

A keen draughtsman, Nick was cited the Royal Institute Young Artist of the Year Award in 2003 and exhibited in the Architecture Room at the annual Royal Academy Summer Exhibition. He is a member of the International Council on Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS), the Urban Design Group, the Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH), and is an elected member of the Institute of Historic Building Conservation (IHBC).
