Colin Harris

Colin Harris is a seasoned telecommunications and electrical engineer with extensive experience in the industry. Currently serving as Principal Telecommunications Engineer at AAPT since February 2008, Colin oversees the design and construction tasks for Data Centre projects across Queensland, while also reviewing and approving electrical and telecommunications connectivity design schematics. Previously, from October 2005 to January 2008, Colin held the position of Principal Engineer at Bechtel, focusing on electrical engineering design for the Millmerran Power Station construction maintenance tasks. Earlier in Colin's career, from July 2002 to June 2005, Colin worked as a Senior Electrical Engineer at ABB, engaging in electrical engineering design and construct tasks for significant construction and power-related projects in the Sydney CBD. Colin earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical from the University of New England from 1980 to 1984.
