Thomas Adams is currently the Senior Vice President of Wind at TPI Composites. Thomas has over fifteen years of experience in the energy sector, with a focus on business development and project management.

Adams began their career in the energy sector in 2002 as the Senior Vice President of Development at RealEnergy, Inc. Thomas then spent nine years at Wood Group, first as Vice President of Business Development from 2005-2014, and then as Vice President of Power Business Development from 2014-2017. In this role, they were responsible for marketing consulting services to conventional, renewable, and nuclear power customers, including independent engineering, advisory, inspection, safety, risk, and compliance services. Thomas also led the offshore wind certification and consulting practice area, which included certifying the design and construction of the first offshore wind farm in the US.

In January 2014, Adams joined EthosEnergy, a Wood Group - TurboCare Venture, as Vice President of Business Development. Thomas held this position until December 2014 when they joined ABS Group as Vice President of Power Business Development. Thomas held this role for three years before joining TPI Composites in December 2017.

Thomas Adams completed their BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Davis and is certified from the California Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors as a Professional Engineer - Mechanical in California.
