Jamila Washington, CPC, serves as the Revenue Cycle Manager at Tidewater Physicians Multispecialty Group, where responsibilities have included CBO Manager, Lab Billing Team Lead, and Lab Billing Representative since October 2014. Prior experience includes the role of Administrative Assistant at Bon Secours DePaul Medical Center from May 2012 to October 2015, providing administrative support to the Administrative Director and Clinical Nurse Managers. Jamila's career began as a Paraprofessional at the YMCA of South Hampton Roads from September 2007 to January 2012. Educationally, Jamila holds an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Health and Medical Administrative Services from Bryant & Stratton College, obtained between 2010 and 2012, and has also studied at City University of New York- York College from 2001 to 2003.

Our group began with four primary care medical groups in Newport News, Hampton and Yorktown, Virginia. Today, TPMG includes over 220 primary care, specialty physicians and advanced practice clinicians in 87 locations who provide care to patients throughout southeastern Virginia. Our physicians have long-standing relationships with the patients they serve and are well-respected for their medical and community leadership.
