David M. Sarvai

Director Of Voice Assurance And Security at TPx Communications

David M. Sarvai has accumulated extensive work experience in the field of telecommunications and network engineering. David M. began their career in 1996 with the US Air Force, where they served as a 510FS Computer/Security Manager, responsible for managing the squadron's network and equipment. In 2000, they joined Engility (formerly Dynamics Research Corporation) as a Senior Network Engineer, where they played a crucial role in establishing and maintaining the company's corporate LAN and WAN, including converting the existing point-to-point Frame-Relay WAN to a meshed VPN network.

In 2004, David joined DSCI, a TelePacific company (now TPx Communications), as the Director of VoIP Engineering. In this role, they made strategic decisions relating to the development, maintenance, and monitoring of the regional Data & Voice Network. David M. also oversaw a team, designed and implemented tools to automate daily tasks, and managed various responsibilities within a small ISP company.

Most recently, in 2017, they continued their career with TPx as the Director of VoIP Engineering, and later, as the Director of Voice Assurance and Security. Throughout their tenure, David exhibited expertise in ensuring the smooth operation and security of the company's voice services. Overall, their work experience reflects strong leadership skills, technical knowledge, and a long-standing commitment to the telecommunications industry.

David M. Sarvai received their AA and BA degrees in Italian Culture and Computer Science from the University of Maryland between 1993 and 1999. Additionally, they obtained several certifications including the BroadSoft Certified Platform Administrator (BCPA) from Broadsoft in 2010, the Fortinet Certified Network Security Professional (FCNSP) from FortiNet Systems in 2006, the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)2 in December 2005, and the Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) from the Information Systems Audit and Control Association in 2004.
