Imeh Akpan

Imeh Akpan has a diverse work experience spanning from 2007 to the present. Their most recent role is as the Head of Design Research at TPXimpact since November 2021. Prior to this, they held the same position at FutureGov from May 2021 to November 2021. From 2016 to 2021, they worked at the Government Digital Service, where they held the roles of GOV.UK User Research Lead and Senior User Researcher. They also worked as a Freelance UX Designer at Cancer Research UK from 2014 to 2016. Additionally, they had freelance roles at Nexus Productions, Wunderman UK, FutureBrand, and Detica, where they gained experience in UX design and IT consulting. They started their career as an Associate Software Engineer at Accenture Technology Solutions from 2007 to 2008.

Imeh Akpan has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with Business Management from Queen Mary University of London. Imeh also holds a Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction with Ergonomics from UCL, specializing in the Division of Psychology and Language Sciences.
