Alison Mangiero is an experienced educator and organizational leader, currently serving as the Executive Director of the Proof of Stake Alliance, which promotes innovative public policies in the proof-of-stake ecosystem. At the College of the Holy Cross since 2012, Alison has held multiple roles including Director and Instructor for New York City Programs, where courses on Leadership and Entrepreneurship were taught, and the launch of a semester-long experiential learning program was designed. Previous positions include Senior Director of the Adam Smith Society at the Manhattan Institute for Policy Research, President and Founder of the Tocqueville Group, and various academic roles at institutions such as the University of Richmond and Christopher Newport University. Alison holds a BA from the University of Richmond and advanced degrees from Boston College, including a PhD in Political Science (ABD).
