James Adams

James Adams is an experienced biotechnology professional currently serving as Chief Technical Officer at Tr1X since June 2022, where responsibilities include leading CMC activities for allogeneic Treg cell therapies. Prior to this role, James held the position of Vice President of Manufacturing and Supply Chain Operations at Sonoma Biotherapeutics, overseeing the production of cell therapy products in a cGMP-compliant manner. James gained significant expertise at Fred Hutch as Senior Director of Clinical Resources, managing operations for cell and gene therapy manufacturing. Previous experience includes roles in technical marketing and sales across various biotechnology companies, along with a strong background in manufacturing and quality assurance at Sanofi Genzyme. James began a career in cell culture supervision at Lonza, Wyeth Biotech, and Biogen, following early work as a Research Associate at AgraQuest, Inc. James holds an MBA in Business Administration from Rivier University and a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from Michigan State University.
