Kevin Nugent

Kevin Nugent has a solid work experience in the science and research field. Kevin started their career as a Quality Control Associate at Genentech in 2015 and worked there for two and a half years. Kevin then moved on to Stemcentrx, Inc. where they worked as an Associate Scientist II for a year and a half. In 2019, they joined Lyell Immunopharma as a Research Associate II and stayed there for a year before transitioning to Poseida Therapeutics, Inc. as a Senior Research Associate. After a year with Poseida Therapeutics, they moved to Resilience in 2021 and worked as a Senior Research Associate II for nearly a year. Currently, Kevin is employed as an Associate Scientist at Tr1X Bio, starting in October 2022.

Kevin Nugent completed their AA degree at the College of the Desert from 2009 to 2012. Kevin then pursued a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a focus on Therapeutic Studies and Rehabilitation at California State University - East Bay from 2012 to 2014. Following that, they obtained a Post Baccalaureate degree from UC Berkeley Extension, where the field of study is not specified, between 2015 and 2019. Currently, Kevin is pursuing an M.S. in Epidemiology with a specialization in Advanced Epidemiology Methods and Biostatistics at San Diego State University, starting in 2020.
