Michelle Heffernan

Michelle Heffernan is an accomplished Environmental Scientist and Partner at Trace Associates Inc., where Ms. Heffernan has served since February 2010, holding roles such as Staff Supervisor and Special Projects Manager. With a strong background in environmental science, Ms. Heffernan was a Member of Council for the Alberta Institute of Agrologists from April 2014 to September 2019 and served as Vice-Chair and Secretary for the Calgary Environmental Network until April 2014, focusing on networking and technical development within the environmental industry. Prior to these positions, Ms. Heffernan worked as a Soil Scientist at Aqua Terre Solutions from February 2007 to February 2010. Ms. Heffernan earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental and Conservation Sciences with a focus on Land Reclamation from the University of Alberta from 2004 to 2006, following studies at Red Deer Polytechnic from 2002 to 2004.
